Each year, every Kappa Alpha Theta chapter participates in a service event to celebrate the October 19 birthday of our founder, Bettie Locke Hamilton. Last year, we joined forces with Thetas from Pepperdine and LMU to participate in Portraits of Hope: Summer of Color, the largest public art project in the US! We colorfully painted panels that will be used to build Santa Monica's ice skating rink this winter. They turned out beautifully, and we can't wait to go ice skating and see our artwork! |
